Details: Join Jersey City Museum, Victory Hall and the Jersey City Cultural Affairs Office for the first-time ever Jersey City Art Fair at the Beacon. This event will feature cutting- edge artworks from over 40 Jersey City artists which will be on view and on sale throughout the 2009 Jersey City Artists' Studio Tour weekend on October 3rd and 4th, 2009. The highlight of the event will be a special wine and cheese Sneak Preview Reception, hosted by The Beacon and taking place in their Great Room on the evening of Thursday, October 1st, 6-8pm. During this special sneak preview, guests will have the chance to mingle with exhibiting artists, art world professionals, and the community, all while browsing an exclusive selection of exceptional artwork by the city's most respected artists including the nationally and internationally renowned as well as cutting-edge newcomers. The Jersey City Art Fair promises to be a wonderful opportunity for art lovers as well as serious art collectors, allowing them to both discover new developments in contemporary art and experience rare museum-caliber artworks. Artworks will be on view and available for sale at both the Sneak Preview Reception and throughout the Studio Tour Weekend, October 3rd and 4th, 2009.
