The artists in Magic Window allow us to view a world
that is intriguing and imaginative with a subtle sense
of wonder.Their work, filled with people and living
things; with color and mathematical and organic
forms, is a vibrant personal investigation, a curious look
into life and its possibilities. The process of their art,
whether painting, drawing or photography, allows
them to focus on small things, like Nisha Drinkard’s
leaves and blossoms or on grander scales as in Anne
Trauben’s cosmically–inspired creations. They amplify
forms, whether geometric as in Peter Bill’s square
paintings or in the flowing colors of Jim Fuess’
underwater inspired forms. Shape and design invade
and surround Bonnie Gloris’ portraits and color quietly
builds form in those of Sarah Deuth. Roslyn Rose and
Vikki Michalios present very different kinds of worlds
using similar architecture and well built structures.
