James Pustorino is an artist and arts organizer in the NY/NJ area. As Director of Victory Hall Inc., he publishes books of artists' works, produces exhibitions, public art projects and student projects.
His work uses abstract and realistic form to explore concepts of narrative and spatial/structural composition.

Current Series-
Place in Space: America Studies- large-scale works on paper and muslin that concern concepts of place and space.
The works make use of abstract structural form to describe the experience of viewing landscape and being in/traveling through areas of the Americas.

Narrative Strips- an abstract visual novel of sorts. In drawing them, conceptually approximating the experience of a novel or musical composition in an expansive graphic language.
Although they engage the form of the comic strip they are just as much about creating a dynamic action and balance of complex color and spatial relationships
.

Limbo-The Limbo Series explores  graphic  narrative concepts, utilizing abstraction, architectural and comic strip form. Following the Universechild Series, Limbo represents an
exploration of internal realities,
a present state of self in the world.
