victoryartsprojects presents lifecycles
Victory Arts Projects continues its program of art in public places, highlighting
the work of NJ/NY area artists and investigating current themes that motivate
their work.
This exhibit emphasizes the role of the artist as an investigator into the nature
of things:
the meaning of the world around or within them.
We have gathered artists in the Jersey City/NY metro area who have a great
interest in life-systems, the sciences: biology, anthropology, physics, botany,
astronomy or whose work examines questions of origins, time and space,
beginnings, ends, growth or eternity
.

Through our Art in Public
program, we use visual art
displays to call attention to the
spirit of our city and ourselves.
We hope the color and magic
of our current banner display
brings attention to the wonderful
work being done for the
children and women of York
