Victory Hall Inc. operates as an independent
artistic and cultural enterprise of emerging and
established artists in the NY/NJ area and
beyond.
We are likewise devoted to enriching the lives
of the adults and children who take part in our
classes or are audience or participants in our
events.

Victory Hall started as a 100 year-old Elks Club
Hall that became, from 2001 to 2007, one of the
preeminent spaces for the Arts in Jersey City,
presenting contemporary art, original theater,
spoken word, performance, poetry, film, music,
and dance events. We consistently drew
thousands of visitors each year to Arts
weekends, films, and classes.

Victory Arts Projects is now working out in the
NJ/NY community continuing to produce art
exhibits, public art projects and interactive
educational programs that challenge both
artists and the public to investigate the
concepts that go into creativity, bringing out the
best from innovative visual artists: Exploring
concepts such as
What makes an artist make art ?
How does an artist's creative sense relate to
the concerns of the larger community ?
How the arts become a voice in the current
conversation the world is involved in.

VAP's Arts and Education classes for children
and adults develop skills, sensitivity and
awareness of the creative possibilities in the
world around us. Through a thought-provoking
mix of exhibition, performance and education,
we engage the community
in the best of cultural innovation.

We create an environment that is open and
encouraging allowing emerging artists to mix
with more established ones, and inviting guest
artists to be part of our process.

Award winning artists such as Janine Antoni ,
Elizabeth Streb and Rachel Rosenthal have

all lent work to past exhibits.

Our goal is to re-create that place where people
can come together to share the arts and
explore their creativity where ever we go.
