Victory Hall Inc. will organize a series of large-scale drawing exhibitions under
the title -- Pin-It-Up: Drawing America. The goal is to create a
confluence of American drawings. Works gathered from various artists/art
communities around the US will be shown in a broad spectrum of select US cities
and communities. The theme is the concept of "constellation," or “conversation”:
an intersection of the variety of viewpoints and experiences from across the
nation. The drawings, pinned to the wall, will be structured in groups that
emphasize their conceptual and visual connections, and will be changed,
renewed, and re-ordered by different curators throughout the exhibit period.
Visitors and students from each area will also have opportunity to participate in
and contribute to the exhibition. These will be
large exhibits, ultimately involving hundreds of drawings. Large drawings would
be rolled up or smaller ones shipped flat to the various show locations.
